Paid plans

Everything you need to check before starting a paid Findip subscription, in one place. Use it when you are putting together an internal approval request, getting a card ready, or answering questions from your finance team — without having to open the checkout window first.

Prices and credit figures are deliberately not repeated here. The pricing page is the single source of truth for what each plan costs and how many search credits it includes.

Choosing a plan

Paid plans come in two forms: personal and team.

Personal — Basic · Pro

A subscription for one person. Your account and API keys are for your own use and must not be shared with anyone else.

Team — Team Basic · Team Pro

A seat-based subscription for several people. It starts at a minimum of 2 seats, and one person — the team admin — handles billing and seat management.

If you need a large number of seats or different contract terms, we arrange an Enterprise agreement separately. Get in touch through the contact page.

Search credits

Plans are sized in search credits — the unit we meter usage in. A few rules are worth knowing before you pick a plan.

  • A credit is deducted each time a search runs. Pulling up full details or drawings from a result costs nothing.
  • When an AI runs several searches to produce a single answer, each of those searches is deducted separately. One question is not necessarily one credit.
  • Credits reset monthly on your billing date. Unused credits do not roll over into the next cycle.
  • Search credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account or exchanged for money.

Billing interval

You can pay monthly or annually. Annual billing comes with a discount, and credits still refresh every month on an annual plan. Compare both on the pricing page.

Starting your subscription

1

Sign in, or create an account from the same screen. Billing and receipt emails go to the address you register here, so if they should reach a work inbox, sign up with that address.

2

Verify your email

You cannot reach the checkout window until your email is verified. If you try to pay before verifying, you are sent back to the Billing screen in the dashboard instead.

A verification banner sits at the top of the dashboard. Request the email there, click the link, and verification is done. Then pick your plan again.

3

Pick a plan

Choose your plan and billing interval on the pricing page. For a team subscription, you set the seat count here as well.

4

Pay in the checkout window

Enter your card and billing address in the checkout window and confirm. The window is provided by Paddle, and the final amount including tax is confirmed there.

Payment methods and tax

Paddle is the seller

Card payments, recurring billing, tax filing, invoicing, and refunds for Findip's paid service are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record, on behalf of LeeonIPL Corp. Paddle's terms and procedures apply to the transaction alongside ours.

Payment methods

You can pay with a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.); personal and corporate cards both work. The payment methods available to you are shown in the checkout window. Enter the cardholder name exactly as printed on the card.

Billing currency

Paddle determines the billing currency from the payer's country and shows it in the checkout window. Changing the site language does not change it.

Tax is added on top of the listed price

Prices shown on the pricing page are net of tax. VAT or sales tax for your country is added by Paddle at checkout, so the amount actually charged is higher than the listed price.

When you budget for a subscription, base it on the tax-inclusive amount rather than the listed price. You can see the final amount in the checkout window.

After payment

Once payment goes through, the subscription starts and the Billing screen in the dashboard shows your current plan and next billing date.

Receipts are available from the Payment history on that same screen, one per transaction. The amounts listed there are the actual totals charged, tax included.

We do not issue separate tax invoices

Because Paddle is the seller, Paddle issues an invoice for every transaction, and that invoice serves as both the receipt and the tax document. Findip does not issue a separate tax invoice of its own.

Submit the Paddle invoice from your payment history for accounting purposes. If your company details need to appear on the invoice, enter them in the billing address fields at checkout.

Changing plans

You can change plan from the Billing screen in the dashboard. When it takes effect — and what you are charged — depends on the direction.

ChangeTakes effectCharge
UpgradeImmediatelyProrated difference for the remaining period, charged right away
DowngradeNext billing dateNothing extra charged this cycle

For an upgrade, the prorated difference is shown before you confirm, and charged on the spot once you do. Your next billing date itself does not move.

A downgrade is scheduled. You keep your current plan until the next billing date, and you can cancel the scheduled change from the dashboard any time before then.

Switching between monthly and annual billing is also something you do yourself, on the dashboard Billing screen. Next to the billing period on your current plan card, click Change — the amounts are shown before you confirm.

The switch takes effect immediately in both directions, and the remaining period is prorated. Monthly → annual charges the difference on the spot. Annual → monthly charges nothing today; instead the amount for the remaining period is credited to your account balance and deducted automatically from your later payments. A credited balance is not refunded to your card. Either way your next billing date is recalculated from the day you switch, while your search-credit reset day stays exactly where it was.

You cannot switch while a plan change or a cancellation is scheduled. Cancel the scheduled change first.

Team subscriptions

Three things to know while you are still deciding. Invitations and connection steps are covered separately in the team guide.

1

Minimum of 2 seats

Team subscriptions start at 2 seats. If only one person will use Findip, a personal subscription is the right fit.

2

The person who pays also occupies a seat

Whoever pays becomes the team admin, and the team admin takes up one of the seats. To add three members besides the admin, you need four seats.

Seat count is not locked in at checkout — the team admin can add or remove seats later on the Team → Billing tab in the dashboard.

3

Credits are not shared between members

Credits apply per seat. There is no single pool that the whole team draws from.

If one member uses up their credits, no one else's balance goes down — and leftover credits cannot be handed to another member either. The totals on the team screen are a reporting roll-up, not the basis for deduction.

The team admin can also switch a team contract between monthly and annual billing, on the dashboard Team → Billing tab. In the contract change panel, pick Billing period — the amounts are shown before you confirm.

The switch takes effect immediately in both directions and the remaining period is prorated, exactly as it works for a personal subscription: monthly → annual charges the difference on the spot, while annual → monthly charges nothing today and credits the amount for the remaining period to the account balance, which is deducted automatically from later payments and is not refunded to the card. The plan and the seat count stay the same, the next billing date is recalculated from the day you switch, and the search-credit reset day stays exactly where it was.

The billing period is a change of its own, so it cannot be combined with a seat or plan change in one request. Finish or cancel any change already in progress first.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from the Billing screen in the dashboard. Cancelling leaves the period you already paid for intact — you keep full access until it ends, after which recurring billing stops and the subscription expires. Before that end date you can also undo the cancellation and keep the subscription running.

14-day full refund

Within 14 days of a payment, we refund it in full, no reason required.

Refunds are not a self-service button — they are handled by email request. Write to contact@findip.ai and we will process it once confirmed. Processing takes 1–3 business days, and your card issuer may take another 3–5 business days to post it.

If a payment fails

When a recurring payment fails, we retry it automatically several times over 14 days. Your service keeps working during the retry period and you are notified by email. If payment is not resolved within those 14 days, the subscription is cancelled automatically.

The full text is in the refund policy and the terms of service.
