This Refund Policy governs payment and refund matters for the paid features of the FindIP service provided by LeeonIPL (the "Company"). It applies together with the Company's Terms of Service.
Payment, recurring billing, and refunds for the Service are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (UK; "Paddle") as the Merchant of Record, and Paddle's policies and procedures may also apply when refunds are processed.
1. Recurring Billing
- Paid subscriptions operate on a monthly recurring billing basis.
- The payment method registered at the initial payment is automatically charged on the same day each month.
- Prices include Value Added Tax (VAT).
2. Subscription Cancellation
- Users may cancel their subscription at any time from the Billing page.
- After cancellation, the Service remains usable until the next billing date; no separate refund is issued for the remaining period.
- After the next billing date, recurring charges stop and the subscription is marked as expired.
- After cancellation but before the next billing date, the subscription may be reactivated at any time.
3. Refund Requests and Processing
- If a refund is requested within 7 days of payment, it may be granted depending on usage. Send refund requests to contact@findip.ai.
- After 7 days from payment, refunds are not, in principle, available.
- Usage history (number of searches, API calls, etc.) may be reflected in the refund amount.
- Approved refunds are processed within 1–3 business days. Card refunds may take an additional 3–5 business days.
- Non-refundable items such as payment-processor fees may apply, in which case the corresponding amount is deducted before refund.
4. Grounds for Refund Refusal
A refund may be refused in the following cases.
- Confirmed terms violation or fraudulent use
- Repeated or bad-faith refund requests by the same user
- Substantial use of the Service after payment
- Cases where refund is restricted by applicable law
5. Automatic Cancellation on Payment Failure
- When a recurring payment fails, the Company automatically retries up to 4 times over 14 days.
- The Service remains usable during the retry period, and the user receives payment-failure notification emails.
- If payment is not normalized within 14 days, the subscription is automatically canceled, and outstanding amounts are not refunded.
6. Auto-Renewal and Withdrawal of Subscription
- As digital content, withdrawal of subscription may be restricted after use begins under Article 17(2) of the Korean "Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce".
- However, refunds taking usage into account are available within 7 days of payment under this Refund Policy.
7. Receipts and Tax Invoices
- Card receipts are issued automatically for every payment and can be downloaded from the Billing page.
- Business users who register their business information on the Billing page receive an electronic tax invoice automatically after each monthly payment.
- Card payments are automatically reported to the National Tax Service through the card issuer, so separate cash receipts are not issued.
